Channel Access Lists

Avade IRC Network has a set of advanced services that will let founders give access on their channels to other users. Having access on a channel means you will either get a voice(+) or an op(@) automatically when you enter the channel or when you use the /chanserv OP #chan Nick command.

In order to give access to others you need to understand what access there are to give out. These are the following access levels of a channel:

Founder

The founder is the owner of the channel, the person who registered the channel and has the highest rank of anyone in the channel.

Co-Founder

The co-founder will have access to add avoice, aop, sop, akick and also have some access to the /chanserv SET command. To modify the co-founder access list just type like this:

/chanserv CFOUNDER #chan ADD nick
/chanserv CFOUNDER #chan DEL nick
/chanserv CFOUNDER #chan LIST

SOp

The SOp will have access to add avoice, aop and akick. To modify the SOp access list just type like this:

/chanserv SOP #chan ADD nick
/chanserv SOP #chan DEL nick
/chanserv SOP #chan LIST

AOp

The AOp will have access to get op(@) through chanserv. To modify the AOp access list just type like this:

/chanserv AOP #chan ADD nick
/chanserv AOP #chan DEL nick
/chanserv AOP #chan LIST

AVoice

The AVoice will have access to get voice(+) through chanserv. To modify the AVoice access list just type like this:

/chanserv AVOICE #chan ADD nick
/chanserv AVOICE #chan DEL nick
/chanserv AVOICE #chan LIST
