Channel Memos

Sending memos to channels on AvadeNET is simple, however you will need to have a registered nickname before trying to send channel memos.

To be able to send channel memos theres a couple of restrictions for sending memos to channels that we need to take into consideration. You need to have a registered nickname, have that nickname added onto a registered channel access list and finally you need to have equal or more access than limited with the chanserv SET MEMO command. The current channel memo limit is shown in the chanserv INFO.

To send channel memos we need to use commands through MemoServ you need to issue this following command:

 /MemoServ CSEND #Chan LEVEL Message

example:

 /memoserv CSEND #chan AOP Hi i removed abcd from avoice
 /memoserv CSEND #chan SOP Hi i removed abcd from aop
 /memoserv CSEND #chan CFOUNDER Hi i removed abcd from sop
 /memoserv CSEND #chan ALL Hi all, meeting thursday
