Register Channel

To register a channel on Avade IRC Network you first need to fully register your nickname. To fully register a nickname please follow the instructions under:

 Register Nickname

Then to register a channel you first need to find out if its free for you to register. To find this out you simply have to issue this command:

 /ChanServ INFO #chan

Where you need to replace #chan with the name of the channel you want to view the info on.

Then if the channel isnt registered and free you have to be the current op(@) in that channel. After this you can register the channel by issuing the following command:

 /ChanServ REGISTER #chan Password Description

Where you need to replace #chan with the channel name, replace Password with the password you want to attach to the channel and replace Description with a short description of the channel (description can contain spaces).

Example: /ChanServ REGISTER #avade ie98si3 My nice channel
